Note, this is not the full lore. This is the information we feel important to share and we required to be read before playing. Our history section details history in time brackets making it easy to understand and we recommend all read it. Also note that we write the story as we go. It's possible historians may have missed a piece of the story and the past can be later added.
Our story takes place on a landmass known to its inhabitants as Terra. Terra is a large chunk of land surrounded by the Bale Sea. No one has ever ventured too far from the mainland to discover anything out in the Bale sea, but if they have they never returned. On the mainland of Terra once strived many races of peoples. Both Dark Elves and Woodland Elves roamed the woods, the Nordic and Dwarves ran the mountains, and the Humans and Tyverian ran the lowlands and the seas. Among all of these regions many other races of less domestic races lived. Many troll and orc breeds exist. Some even believe they've seen dragons.
This mainland has been broken down into many different nations. Some house multiple races, others don't take so kindly to outsiders. Most of the human and elve kind were okay with eachother, they even often shared land. Dwarves and Nords also often saw eye to eye.
Ever since known recorded history an ominous misty has been blowing in slowly and it never seemed to discipate. It just keeps rolling eastward. No one really knows what the mist means, some choose to flee when it overlaps their land. Others have held their ground and were never heard of again. To the known peoples of the world no one knows where the other side of the continent is, no one has seen it. Since roughly 500 years ago this mist approached. Only roughly 50 years ago the Human/Wood Elve nation of Kazarth had disappeared under the mist. Now only the Kingdoms of Karth and Talos are left before the mist will have taken over all of the land and no one will have a place to fall back to.
On the edge of the mist some often see the living dead moving about. The actual contents of its depths are a unknown though. A common belief is that the mist itself kills all who enter it and ressurects them as these walkers. No one has ever ventured deep into the mist and lived to return their information.
At the moment the two kingdoms are unified and trying to plan out an action to take to prefer their untimely fall.
