The most important thing to understand when playing Dark Crusades in comparison to normal role playing forums is our quest system. When you post a thread it will always be one of three things. A social thread, a quest thread, or an event thread. Event threads are started by admins and rules are given on the threads specifically. Social threads can be started by any accepted character however no rewards are obtainable. Quest threads are the most important to understand. To start a quest, go to the quest board. There look at the only post that isn't in one of the sub boards, titled quest template. In the template there is a few types of quests you can do. Regular quests are quests you post in the unreviewed quests area. Once filled out do not start your quest. Wait for the thread to be replied to by an admin. It's generally a few hour wait unless you catch us in the Cbox. If it was approved it will say approved, if your quest seems too difficult maybe it will get a pending and requested to be made easier before approved. Once approved you do the whole thread then post a link to said thread in the unreviewed topic. Then an admin will review the topic and determine the reward. The second type of quest is Request Quests. These are when you want to quest but can't think of something. We'll give ya something good in your level range. The third type is a faction quest. As a guild you may create a quest that is open to any guild members, but it will only be open to guild members. By doing this you gain guild xp and additional exp yourself. These are submitted the same ad the first one.
